Meet Dash, an adorable miniature Poodle!
I met this bundle of joy and his mother Victoria at Rood Bridge Park in Hillsboro, Oregon. He was fully up for the challenge to be my super model.
I originally met Dash at Noyes Development where I work. Victoria brought him into the office when he was just a pup. I knew one day I’d have an opportunity to photograph this sweet boy.
When I first greeted them he quickly realized I was a person to be best friends with (aka the treat lady). He was ready to perform no matter what we asked and most of the time didn’t even expect a treat. I think he was having so much fun he didn’t care if he got a reward.
Dash’s mom suggested we throw a ball into the tall field of grass. Sure enough once we threw it, he was off. He bounced up and down like an adorable 8 lb baby sheep.
As we wondered through the trails he’d walk ahead and when Victoria called him he’d come running to us with a huge smile, a pet photographers dream.
When he wasn’t fully running he’d prance his way back to us. I nicknamed him Twinkle Toes (like Fred Flinstone bowling). Ack! Did I just age myself? Oh well!
Boing Boing Boing!!!!
I’ve been told Dash has an incredible story on how Victoria became his fur mom, however we ran out of time. All the more reason to get back together for another shoot in the future.

Have I ever mentioned my obsession with dogs noses? There’s something about them. Am I weird or are there other people out there that find them as cute as I do?
