Happy New Year everyone! It’s time we lay 2017 to rest and start a blank slate with 2018. This year is going to be a big year, I can FEEL IT….FEEL IT!
With a new year means the 52-week photography project resets and goes back to week 1.
This weeks theme is:
Blank Slate
Below my boys are getting a blank slate by washing off all their dirt, eye boogers, food in their whiskers, etc…. Neither of my boys love bath time. My old boy Jester isn’t thrilled as you can tell from his bug eyes. He’ll tolerate it but won’t like it one bit.
Ollie however will fight me tooth and nail to get out of the bath at all stages. He has a core of an Olympic gymnast. Thankfully the high walls of the soak tub help some.
The thought of having a blank slate is divine. No looking back just forward. When I light the candles and slip into a bath I’m day dreaming of all the possibilities.
I could never get this shot with Moose – he’d be hoping out of the tub if I backed away from him. LOL!!
Let me tell you…they were NOT happy about this at all. Neither of them are big on baths. Jester is more like…fine just get it over with where as Ollie is my jumper. Thank goodness for wide lenses!
Happy New Year! These images brought such a big smile to my face!
Thanks Linda! As you can tell they weren’t too happy about the situation, but now they’re all handsome!
heehee My dogs would have NEVER stayed in that tub. Adorable!
It was a challenge that’s for sure, but I got a few that worked.
Love the bubble bath, and that look that a dog gets in the bubble bath. LOL. Bubbles on head are a riot! Happy New Year!
My old man Jester was giving me THE LOOK…Really mom!?!?! Happy New Year to you!
These feel so in the moment. I love them!
They needed a bath anyway. Can you tell they love their bath time? NOT!!!
I can’t even get my dog into the bathroom for a tub – haha! These are so cute! I love that last image with that adorable head tilt! How fun!
That’s the bonus of having smaller dogs. You can take um! It also helps that it’s a soaker tub with high sides. Ollie (last image) he can jump out in a heartbeat. I had to act fast! Jester (my old man) his eyes just bug out of his head. I’m pretty sure in most of these images he’s saying profanity in his head.
I definitely hope you are right that this year will be a big year. I’m hoping for it for all of us!
Positive thinking, right! We got this!
Love that bath look…lol. Bet you got wet just afterwards.
OH I was wet the entire time with a towel real close to dry my hands off and grab the camera. Also, having a trusty assistant/husband is always nice.
Soooo cute with their bubble bath! I love that your pointer turns into a pawprint also. Can I ask how you did that?
I would LOVE to tell you how it was done but my web designer did it for me. Sorry!
Fresh and squeaky clean! Love that sweet pup’s eyes!
They’re saying “I love you mom but I really don’t like you right now.”
ha ha, i love the top one with the bubbles on his head!
He was very confused as it wasn’t his typical bath routine. 😉
Erhmagherd, those bubbles… those little faces! Adorable! Gee I wish I could do that with Sapphire. Shes runs a country mile when she sees water, smells water or hears water.
Blonde moment….I had to look up Erhmagherd. Then I sounded it out. D’oh! When my boys here the bath water run they bolt outside. Once I catch them they shake the whole way up the stairs. Luckily they’re small so I can make them.
Well, even though I can’t think of many dogs who like bath time, it sure looks like a blast with these two!
I even set the mood by lighting some candles for them. They didn’t find it relaxing for some reason. hee hee
Clever idea and super cute pups!
Thanks Tracy! They are pretty darn cute I must say.
Danyel, I laughed out loud at Jesters photo – brilliant!
I’m glad I could give you a giggle.
So cute!
Thanks Michelle! 🙂 I think so too!
