Catch me if you can

I hear it all too often.  Parents saying “You’ll never get a decent photograph of MY dog”.   “My boy/girl is just too crazy, too fast, ect”.

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

I like to play a little game of catch me if you can.  Who do you think will win? I’d suggest betting on this girl!

The next two images I captured during the Westie Walk.  These parents were trying to get their pup to jump.  I turned my camera quickly to the action and 1….2….3….   GOT IT!Catch me if you can

BEFORE & AFTER

Several weeks ago I met a fellow photographer in Seaside, Or.  We grabbed our cameras and headed to the beach.  Plenty of models were already at the beach, I just needed to find a willing participant.  I saw two dogs playing up a storm so, like always, I go introduce myself and ask permission to photograph their dogs playing.  It was a great shot but pretty noisy in the background. Thank God for Photoshop.

Do you want a good laugh? Who doesn’t!  Check out the before shot.  There’s a person walking with a bucket on their head!!  I had no idea they were there until I was ending the images. TOO FUNNY! You just never know what you’re going to get sometimes until you look closer.

Lovely edit on the beach image Danyel and super crisp focus on your other action shots – great job!

  2. Lynda Mowat says:

Great photos! Love those crisp images of the dogs jumping, as well as the beach edit. Great job! I also clicked on your link to the canines uncorked, and thought what a wonderful idea that is! Would love to try something like that here.

    • Danyel Rogers says:

Thank you Lynda. I love action shots. Canine Uncorked is our local Oregon Humane Society event. With many wineries participating the whole event is rather large. Bar hopping for vineyards. Thank goodness for companies like Uber & Lift who can keep the event safe and fun.
