I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT…   *DRUM ROLL PLEASE *

I’d like you to meet my very first Grand-Dog!!!  Miss Norah Capaci (Border Collie Mix)

Miss Norah

My oldest daughter, Breanna (B), had been on the hunt for the perfect pup at the local shelters.   She searched and searched. I got an excited text that one had just come into a shelter she was interested in. B headed there right away.  Things looked good but sadly on the second visit she didn’t fare well with her roommate’s dog, so she had to keep searching.

Not much time passed before this cutie pie showed up at the Oregon Dog Rescue.  Breanna was so excited. Her very first fur baby.  Norah was a Blue Merle Border Collie.  She was still a puppy, untrained, and full of energy.  She’s got her work cut out for her.

Fast forward to this month.  I met Breanna, her BF Lee, and Miss Norah at Gearhart Beach. We had plans for them to meet us in Cannon Beach but it was far too busy. We wanted Miss Norah’s first experience beach experience to be a pleasant one.

Unsure how she’d do we kept her on a very long lead to ensure her and everyone’s safety. The hard part being she has so much energy she’d run full speed and would hit the leash limit and tumble over herself. Very few people were where we were so I unhooked her lead and made sure she was super focused on her squeaky ball. I was on the beach and Breanna in the water in the direction I was throwing. She was UNSTOPPABLE!  I think for the very first time in her life she was tired. Game on!

Here are some of the amazing images from that day.

Photoshop Is Our Friend!

Does your dog need to be on a leash so you don’t think good portraits can be captured?   Is there something distracting in the background??   Did your leg accidentally make it into the shot?  Well  enjoy some before/after images.  There is no need to skip photographing your pets. Give them the best location they can thrive in. Keep them on a lead if need be and just have a great time. It makes for some amazing shots. SEE BELOW
