A few weeks ago I had the privilege of going to Seattle for a few commercial shoots. This first image was held at a really cool winery, Novelty Hill Januik Winery. Seeing the grounds I knew this red wall had to be incorporated into some of my shots. Not only were the models adorable but the wall made for colorful images.
A location I love to use here in Portland is the International Rose Test Gardens. There’s one spot I always take my clients to. It has the most beautiful light and the background colors are just amazing.
I’m so lucky to have amazing parks for my sessions. Oregon is a beautiful state and I’m lucky to call it my home.
SO MANY COLORS
We all know that the Pacific NW has wonderful landscapes with luscious greenery everywhere. The downside to that is we get a lot of rain, which means I need to take my sessions inside at times. Keep in mind that doesn’t mean you can’t produce colorful images. This purple seamless backdrop gave a great pop color.
These girls came to me through the Portland Pug Rescue. I just got word that these beautiful sisters are going to their new forever home. WAHOO! I’m so glad someone is opening their home to both of them so they can continue to stay with each other.
I see you….
