The 2018 Portland Pop-up Pug Cafe was a complete success!! This was the first annual Pop-up Pug Cafe and I’m sure it won’t be the last.
Guests arrived at the Cathedral Park Place for 5 different cafe sessions. Saturday had 3 sessions and Sunday has 2. The doors opened and guests flooded in with their fur babies. They mingled around looking at all the donated art, which was up for auction. I saw some friendly banter of people wanting specific art pieces.
There were so many adorable smooshed up pug faces. Dogs were able to enjoy puppachinos and amazing bacon pup-cakes that were donated from The Seattle Barkery. Every dog I saw was in heaven over these goodies!
Parents weren’t left out. Doe Donuts donated tasty treats for the donut wall. Their donuts are not only tasty but made in a vegan kitchen, free of all animal products. You should check them out if you haven’t. A donut wouldn’t be complete without some Stumptown Coffee!!
Guests also had the opportunity to purchase swag from the swag table. There were calendars, Pop-up Cafe coffee mugs, dog accessories, etc. Each admission purchased included entry to this event but also tickets for the raffle. I highly suggest you jump on this event next time. You won’t be sorry.
The adorable Pug Cafe logo design was donated by Puglie Pug! Follow Puglie and his adventures via Pugliepug.com, or on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter at @PugliePug.
Wag to my Heart volunteered during the event as the photo booth photographer. Each session had VIP Pugs. Take a look at these special guests.

GIVING BACK
Wag to my Heart volunteers for several rescues in the area including the Pacific Pug Rescue. We’ve set a goal to raise $10,000.00 for non-profit organizations within the community. To help achieve this we offered a $400 gift certificate for a $99 donation to the Pug Rescue. Several people took advantage of such an amazing opportunity. We couldn’t be more thrilled to give back!
We are looking to adopt a female pug.
